MemberHi, seesuz. We don’t support particular brands of foods, but rather we guide Clubmembers with regard to reading food labels in order to make the best choices – whole food ingredients without artificial additives. For your graham crackers example, the following is an “approved” ingredients list:
“Organic Whole Grain Wheat Flour (organic graham flour), Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Expeller-pressed Sunflower Oil, Organic Honey, Organic Molasses, Leavening (baking soda, ammonium bicarbonate and cream of tartar), Organic Vanilla Flavor, Organic Brown Sugar Flavor, Sea Salt, Organic Rosemary Extract (to protect flavor).”You can compare this to a less desirable ingredients list:
“UNBLEACHED ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE {VITAMIN B1}, RIBOFLAVIN {VITAMIN B2}, FOLIC ACID), GRAHAM FLOUR (WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT FLOUR), SUGAR, SOYBEAN OIL, HONEY, LEAVENING (BAKING SODA AND/OR CALCIUM PHOSPHATE), SALT, SOY LECITHIN, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR.”With regard to corn, note that the “5 foods” are examples of popular foods that are supposed to be healthy but the most commonly found forms of which have been manipulated into not being healthy. We encourage you to find better versions – in the case of corn, organic or at least non-GMO.
