GogleddMemberHas anyone else suffered from headaches at the start of this diet. Now it could be the change of diet, or perhaps I need to drink more water or is it something else?
On days 8, 9 and 10 I have started the day with a headache – something I normally don’t suffer with. I increased my water consumption on day 9 but still had a headache day 10. Any suggestions?May 17, 2014 at 12:52 am #20242
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Gogledd. Some users have described similar feelings, almost like a “detox” effect. This could definitely be related to the change of diet, as your system is ridding itself of unhealthy chemical to which it ironically may have become addicted.
Other possibilities: have changed your caffeine intake? Are you a diabetic? Do you have a history of headaches? Have you been under stress recently?May 18, 2014 at 7:32 am #20272
LouiseMothayMemberI guess it’s headaches from detoxing as I am on day one of the 14 day Menu to start the program. I have a lingering headache I can identify from having super vegan foods, less black tea today which I think is the main culprit and it seems I drank less water than usual because I’ve been so full from the quantity of foods. It’s like a Spring clean!

GogleddMemberHi Sharon
I drink Decaff coffee but have cut down. No history of headache – I’m fortunately usually very healthy. Not diabetic and no stress.
I;m sure its just the change of diet.

bjcramerMemberI am on day 8 and have had really bad headaches all day. I don’t normally get migraines, but today I did…floaters, and intense pain…then nausea. I think it is a detox effect from the clean eating. No turning back now! my body is working to clean out all the toxins. yay!
