what is the fat exchange? and its not in your exchange list how do I exchange it?
Hi, Leah. Each fat exchange is 5 grams of fat (with less than a gram of protein or carbohydrates). For heavy cream, each tablespoon (15 ml) is a fat exchange.
What do i take off my morning meal to have this?
Hi, Leah. Every time you see a fat exchange at the meal you wish to have cream, that’s where you make the swap. For example, you would have it instead of butter at breakfast; where you have nuts at breakfast, just reduce the nut serving to half – instead of 1/2 ounce (=1/4 cup or 60 ml), have 1/4 ounce (=2 tablespoons or 30 ml).
Got ya ok thank you.
Can I use 1/2 and 1/2 in exchange for a fat?
Hi, Kathy. Yes! Up to 2 tablespoons is 1 fat exchange.
