DjimenaMemberI’m new to the program on my menu there are several type of food that I should be eating for every single meal do I have to eat them all or I can pick one and that’s it?
Also fish oil I don’t know what that isFebruary 16, 2016 at 7:22 am #34091
SupportKeymasterHi Djimena,
Thanks for posting!
Yes, you should eat the entire meal. But, if it’s hard for you, please do feel free to do this gradually.
Fish Oil is simply a suggestion based on your dietary needs. You can learn more about fish oil and its benefits by clicking on it from your menu.

Sundance09MemberI have just joined the Trim Down Club and am not able to use any of the menu planning because they require I have a food scale (I have ordered one, but it has not arrived). Any ideas?

sfunngtp03MemberI’m getting a little frustrated. I just joined two days ago and I went through all the foods and recipes and built my food list. However, when I go through each day and meals, they keep trying to give me big meals with prep time during the week. I’ve changed the foods to other things that are easier when you’re working. Then I get to Saturday and Sunday and the bigger meals for breakfast, etc don’t show up as a choice. Also, they didn’t give me any options to choose the recipes I selected. I’ve spent a lot of time over the past couple days going through everything and it just doesn’t seem that easy.

SupportKeymasterHi sfunngtp03,
You can change the amount of food and recipes in your menu from your profile page. The Personal Menu Planner does take a bit of time to work with, but please do keep in mind that after you create your first menu it will be a breeze to create others. It is important that you favorite and remove foods (icons to the right of the foods) from your menus this way they either appear more or don’t appear in future menus.
Hope this helps. Please do right back if you have other questions.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sundance. Be sure to click on the “imperial” (US) measurement units indicator at the left end of the toolbar above your finished menu – this will make most amounts come up in cups. For dairy products each 8 ounces is a cup, with the exception of hard cheese – each 4 ounces grated is a cup. For meat/poultry/fish products, 4 ounces is about the size of the palm of your hand (without the fingers).
