Tagged: Homemade bread
I make my own homemade bread from flour I grind myself from white wheat. I believe that it qualifies as 100% even though I use white instead of red wheat berries. I add 2 tablespoons of honey and 4 tablespoons of gluten, 2 tablespoons of powdered milk and 1 tablespoon butter plus yeast to 4 3/4 cups of flour. I love this bread! and really don’t want to give it up. Also how can I determine what would be the equivalent to one serving.
Hi, Ellie. That sounds great. An ounce (about 30 grams) would be a serving – equal to one slice of bread or 1/2 up oatmeal or cooked pasta, etc. in your menu.
