HOW DO I MAKE SOMEONE A FRIEND?

I cannot figure out how to invite someone to be my friend after seeing a post from someone who I have a lot in common with. I have gone to MY site and to theirs and don’t see a way to request being a friend.
Guess I’m “blind”, but, moderator, please tell me the simple way I can do this. Thanks!

Oh, also, how do I go into a friend’s website and send a private message rather than put it into the general forum?

Hi angeljackie,
To add a friend, simply click on their username or their profile picture and then you will be taken to their profile. Lastly, click on ‘ADD FRIEND’ at the top right of the page.
Once you are friends you can send private messages to each other through Messages, located at the top right corner of the website.

I tried clicking on a profile picture and the profile did come up, but “add friend” does NOT appear at the top right. What am I doing wrong?

Support, there is no “add friend” button on SONGBIRD’s profile, so please do go in and check. Thanks!

I haven’t checked out others and hope that is not a “glitch” and that I will have better luck in further attempts.

You can also put the members username into this link whenever you want to ask them to be friends with you: http://www.trimdownclub.com/members/songbird/

Simply change the username in the link above from Songbird to the username of the member you want to be friends with.
