MemberHi, David714. Beef, poultry, fish, and similar items can generally be switched in the same amounts, ounce for ounce. You can have them as often as you like.
For substitutions for all the food groups, see here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.January 8, 2021 at 3:44 am #47218David714

MemberHi, David714. Each meal has a different limit, and it depends on the recipes in your menus. You are allotted a total of 110 grams of protein per day, and it can come from a variety of sources, including chicken/turkey and fish. At each meal, you are allotted 30-40 grams of protein, and at the snack, 10 grams. Each ounce of chicken/poultry of fish provides an average of 7 grams of protein, which means you can have about 4-5 ounces per meal (and as often as you wish). However, keep in mind that the most important aspect of a ketogenic plan is to have more fat than the amount of protein+carbohydrate combined. That means that for every gram of protein, you need to be sure to have one or more grams of fat.
If you want information on your allottments, click on the “Macros” button above your menu to know how much of each macronutrient you can have per meal and for the entire day. - AuthorPosts
