ParticipantThat is a good question. I would love to hear the answer too. I look at the menu and think…no way can I or do I have time to eat all that.

ParticipantI feel the same….so much food and sooo much preparation! And the lunch recipes seem like things for an evening meal to me…

ParticipantI am also confused by this. I printed out a menu plan, and it seems like a HUGE amount of food for breakfast–and other meals:Vegetable, oatmeal, berries, yogurt, egg? Help, please.

ParticipantI asked same question when I joined. Was told yes to eat that amount ( in small portions) it’s about combining the right combinations. I’ve lost 4 lbs & I’m enjoying this plan A LOT. yes, there is some prep work involved but I’d rather do some preparation on something that works then be fat, unhealthy & unhappy. Anything worth doing usually takes a bit of effort. Give it a try!!! It gets some getting use to because when we ” diet” we think of less food, but this is about eating the right combinations & keeping that metabolism UP!! I’ve made may of the recipes & everything is really good!! Not disappointed yet.

MemberI have had a gastric bypass and cannot eat much each meal. Can you devise an eating plan for one with less food? Typically i eat instant oatmeal for breakfast. Then mid-morning a snack of fruit or yogurt. Do you need to eat some of each item each meal or can you do it wnother way and still lose weight??HELP!!

MemberHi, Sharon. Hopefully you received guidance from a dietitian or other healthcare professional regarding your diet post-bypass. The Trim Down Club program is indeed for people who have not undergone this or a similar procedure, but of course you can adjust how you follow the menus the Menu Planner application provides for you. To best help you, it would be good do know how long ago you had the procedure, what if any symptoms you are having, and what a full day looks like for you since. If assuming it has been a while, I would suggest to spread out the foods on your menus more throughout the day, i.e. one or two foods every 1-2 hours.
