MemberI have hypothyroidism and have been on synthroid for 15 years and can’t seem to lose any weight. I have my meds checked every 6 months and they keep going up and down. Will this plan help me lose weight or did I just waist my money again? I am so tired of being FAT/Morbidly Obese. I need someone or something to help me stick to a program. My husband and children are slim and I am Fat. What am I doing wrong.

MemberHi, nonadianne. I responded to your post in Diet Water Cooler, but I’ll post something similar here. You mentioned your concern about your food choices not being consistent with those recommended for dealing with hypothyroid. I suggest that to work through this issue, we could start two first steps:
1. Look through the Menu Planner items in the lightest blue (healthiest choices) and free vegetables list (the link is after Sunday on your final weekly menu screen), and see which of these you like or could like with the right recipe or preparation. Any about which you are “on the fence” you can post here, and we can talk about making them most appetizing.
2. Think about the foods you do like – you can post them here, if you like, and we can discuss which ones may be working against you, and how to upgrade them.June 5, 2013 at 5:37 pm #12277Bebette
