MemberI’m diabetic with lupus. And I hate foodr. I grow my own veggies. None of which are on your list so far. And to eat the amount of food on your list, would cause me problems that’s 5 to 6 days of food. It takes me all month to eat a cup of walnuts, prefer cashews and still takes a while to eat. Hot cereals or things made with hot cereals mess with my auto immune like oatmeal or oat bran. Dislike breads unless I make them myself. Don’t like pizza at all and will not trade it for quinoa pot pie i will eat the soup for the pot pie but there’s too much bread for lunch i think I ate 5 things from yesterday’s meal and couldn’t finish that my throat closed up at full.

MemberHi, Cozzie. You can use any vegetables you want – no worries.
As for the rest, just do the best you can – try to focus on the produce, protein, and good fats (the starchy carbohydrates are less important). We do want you to be comfortable.May 4, 2020 at 7:22 am #45639SandySandy
MemberWhat is the minimum number of slices (or substitutes) a day?

MemberHi, SandySandy. That number varies, but generally I would say around 4 to prevent protein overload from trying to meet caloric needs. After all, we don’t want this to be a semi-starvation plan.
