MemberHi, Chris. Ideal times generally begin when you start your day, then every 2-1/2-3 hours, ending about 1-2 hours before bedtime. However, if you have intense workouts, you can time your snacks to be about an hour before and just after.

MemberThank you. I don’t work out, too old for that. I am enjoying following your diet, and I can tell the difference in my body, but I am not losing any weight. I am guessing that the missing component is exercise and that is not going to happen. Oh well, at least I tried.

MemberHi, ChrisK25. You are definitely not too old to work out, and the fact that you do not now likely means that as soon as you do, you will start losing without much trouble. Keep in mind that working out does not necesarily mean going to the gym and working up a sweat or even becoming breathless – it can be just a walk for 20 minutes a day, outside or even in place in front of the TV for the length of a program, or lifting full food cans or water bottles a few times, resting, lifting them again, etc. Anything that gets you moving per periods at a time can help. As for that period, you don’t have to reach it at once – you can start with 5 minutes, and add minutes as you feel comfortable.
Exercise of any kind can also make a big difference for your health. If you would like more guidance, please do repost. - AuthorPosts
