There are various reports scattered throughout the forums. Because of privacy issues, the program administrators can’t make the connections, but people do post on their progress from time to time.

Hi, i am in the UK, signed up today, 31 december 2012, have at least 5 stone to lose as it is getting harder to walk with all this extra weight, ( i am over 65) tried WW SW Dukan etc, I have never started a diet on new years day before, but i am going to start tomorrow 1.1.2013, just been shopping for the first 3 days meals, our waitrose is soooo expensive for some of the things, i will have to make a trip to town to tesco i think. Happy New Year to you all.

Hi mumpat I think it’s expensive to diet anyway what’s good for u always costs that’s why a lot of people and kids are big it’s affording to be healthy it would be nice to just be able to buy things that are good for u. Like u I’ve tried all the diets and given up but this year I need desperately to stick to it. My mum suffers terrible with walking has hip and back probs hereditary they told me so think about keeping fit even just by walking thirty mins a day doesn’t have to be fast but a faster pace than u would normally do and gets ur heart going and keep the weight down so that’s my plan and new yr resolution….just need to stick to it 🙂 x

    Hi Suzanne
you can buy cup measures from most cooking utensil shops , john lewis or supermarkets, some such as waitrose are pretty expensive, i got mine from ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=measuring+cup+set&_frs=1 for a couple of pounds, it does make following american recipes easier,

Hi there, I too am in the UK (South Coast) I could do with losing 100lbs long term but am setting my sights on smaller bites, hopefully averaging 1.5 lbs a week. I’m in my late fifties and anticipate it being a tough climb, but I like a challenge and NEED to do this.

Hi I don’t no if any of u agree out there I’m new and started a cple of days ago .i am trying to stick to most of what the planner says but yesterday I had turkey in a jiffy which contained lots of herbs etc rice shiitake mushrooms etcetc so I compromised and worked out roughly what rice I needed for one had ordinary mushrooms cooked chicken and using the herbs I had made a decent meal I am frequently going in for a swap if I haven’t got the stuff I need it takes some adjusting to actually realise I haven’t got a pineapple press swap yes I have apple I haven’t any crisp reads left swap yes I have whole meal bread at first I felt a little scared and thought omg do I actually have to eat all this il be an even bigger whale!!! But yesterday I felt less bloated for the first time in ages and wen I actually weigh 2oz chicken I’m like omg how small is that I would have eaten lots more than that!!! So it is portion sizes and yes I am eating rice and potatoes together which I found strange but its brown and not white and its tiny portions that do fill me up I hope there’s a few more out there that felt the same as me but haven’t wanted to say all the best and let’s stick together and do this xxxx 🙂

Hey Sharon, I was afraid of eating so much food my first week and thought it would pack on the pounds. While I didn’t lose any weight the first week, I didn’t gain any either. I am hoping for better results the second week as I learned to work with the planner better and didn’t have to substitute for foods I didn’t have readily available. Soda crackers and club crackers are not the same thing. lol I was having trouble with timing for my meals too so I have started setting a timer so I don’t miss a meal. I was still full so I lost track of time. Hope this helps. Looking forward to my second week and losing some weight.
