Tagged: INTRODUCING NEW FOODS
Hi, I am a newbie and I made a very costly mistake on one of my meals yesterday(2nd day). It called for 1/2 cup of barley, and I’d never eaten barley like that before (usually in some kind of soup),and it shot my blood sugar up to 156. Being diagnosed with Diabetes, that was not good. I immediately did 45 minutes on the eliptical and brought it down to 115. Zapped me for the rest of my day.
Hi, Lulabelle. Good for you for nipping blood sugar in the bud already at 156 with the best medicine – exercise. You sound like a real pro.
