I recently read about this product on the belvita breakfast whole grain biscuits. Is the product invert sugar safe on this plan. Read about it on line but lots of controversy about the product.
Hi, Twillia. If you like those biscuits, note that 2 of them equals a carb exchange. If you eat the whole pack for breakfast, be sure to add a protein (i.e. egg) and serving of fruit. These are definitely one of the better products I’ve seen.
Invert sugar isn’t really recommended here, as it is a refined sugar. whenver you have any extra time at all, i.e. on the weekends, or even while you are preparing the evening meal, I would encourage you to make your own version of these – if you would like ideas, we have several nutritionally similar items among our recipes.
As a general rule, if a product is made by a huge company (i.e., here it is Nabisco), the chances are greater that it may contain hidden “challenges” to your efforts here.
