    Hi, Ossie Sharon. Thank you for updated calorie info. Will adjust accordingly. Any chance you could adjust food selections in each menu to reflect that? Or is it a blanket set of choices?

    I am asking about grams of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) recommended for you each day preferably by meal (as relevant).

    I was looking at menu breakout in meal planner for reference:
    Carbs Pros Fats Fruits Vegetables Sweets

    Thanks!

    Hi, Snippers. Each exchange is approximately as follows:
    Carb = 15 g carbohydrates + 3 grams protein
    Protein = 7 g protein + 5 g fat
    Fat = 5 g fat
    Fruit = 15 g carbohydrates
    Vegetable = 5 g carbohydrates + 2 g protein
    Sweet = 15 g carbohydrates + 5 g fat
    So your particular pattern would yield the maximum approximate amounts below per meal –
    Breakfast: 13 g protein, 45-60 g carbohydrates, 5-10 g fat (the difference is whether you use butter or jam)
    Morning Snack: 10 g protein, 30 g carbohydrates, 10 g fat
    Lunch: 28 g protein, 25 g carbohydrates, 20 g fat
    Afternoon Snack: 12 g protein, 20 g carbohydrates, 5 fat
    Dinner: 29 g protein, 35 g carbohydrates, 20 fat
    Evening Snack 10 g protein, 15 g carbohydrates, 10 fat

    Thank You! I am still getting adjusted but have lost 2 pounds this week. The articles are very helpful in getting an informed perspective on food-shopping.

    How do I calculate my personal maximum in carbs, protein, fats, fruit, veggie and sweets for each meal like you did for Snippers?

    Hi, bd2486. Click on “Exchange view” in the toolbar above your finished menu to see the exchanges, and multiply each with the factors I listed for Snippers –
    Carb = 15 g carbohydrates + 3 grams protein
    Protein = 7 g protein + 5 g fat
    Fat = 5 g fat
    But according to your stats, you two have the same path.
    Fruit = 15 g carbohydrates
    Vegetable = 5 g carbohydrates + 2 g protein
    Sweet = 15 g carbohydrates + 5 g fat
