BlockedI joined a couple of weeks ago, found I have been eating the right foods already, but am happy to try the 5-6 meals a day approach. However, sadly the effect is a slight weight GAIN each week! I am not very impressed, to say the least. Let’s just hope, it;s just a slow start due to hormonal rhythms outside the insulin reactions.

MemberHi, dak1123. Congratulations! See if it helps to change your exercise routine a little (even if temporarily) to wake up new muscles, or increase intensity or frequency.

MemberHey, just joined. have set myself a short term goal to see how fast I can loose weight then when I hit that I am going to set a bigger goal! Would love to find out more on ratios and portioning as on the weekend we often have guest or go out for meals making it hard. If I new how to portion I could just be careful of how much I took of what. Love some help. Good luck everyone!

MemberHello fellow trimdowners!,
I lost 10 pounds a couple weeks ago but did not have the support I needed and went on a trip that kind of ruined things. I’m back and I want to be permanently back, but I REALLY need support! I have five living children and a busy life (like a lot of you). I’m a homeschooler and I just don’t feel like myself. I’m going into this with the attitude that I’m not going to wait till after I hit my goal before I love myself, I’m going to treat this as an act of love to myself. I’ve been successfully coming out of depression that I have had since age 16 (I am 41 now) and I feel the last step is to treat my body right!
I would love to hear your stories and get to know you better to lift and help each other! Please let me know what has helped you when dealing with food temptations. I’m looking forward to this! - AuthorPosts
