MemberHi, I have been trying to find a “safe” diet program! This looks good and I look forward to making a grocery list and shopping tomorrow. I plan on starting in 2 days.

MemberI just signed up too! Starting on Friday so I have the weekend to get adjusted to the plan and make some meals ahead. I drive an hour to work and back everyday so I need to have things ready to either pack or to heat up when I get home; which is often after 6-7. Excited to get started! Good Luck!

MemberHi, Colsam, and welcome. We’re not crazy about it, but if you can keep it to just a cup a day, there are worse things. I would, however, recommend trying to make your own with soda water, cola flavor extract, and a natural, high-quality sweetener like Stevia, erythritol, even something like this:

Memberyou also might want to try Walmart’s flavored, sparkling water. It comes in many flavors and I’ve been drinking it for years. It has cut down my diet coke consumption and I don’t feel cheated. (I love my Diet Coke) The water is calorie free, and caffeine free, lots of very good benefits…only .68 cents per bottle.
Good Luck!July 9, 2016 at 1:40 pm #36131Deanna47
MemberJust joined, this looks like a good alternative to yo-yo diets. Fortunately it is summer and fresh produce abounds, I need information on finding healthy protein and carb sources. Yesterday, I drank 0 cola’s, substituted with fresh tea. My goal today is to drink more water.

MemberHi Everyone, I just signed up yesterday and have already got my menu ready and heading off to the grocery store. One question, is Splenda considered an artificial sweetener?
Looking forward to meeting new friends in this forum.July 15, 2016 at 4:15 pm #36197michelle.howell.09
MemberHi everyone. I signed up a couple of weeks ago because I was dealing with belly bloat and just not feeling weel. I lost a family member in right about that time and had to travel a lot. I decided that I would use the principles here to help maintain some semblance of healthy eating while dealing with the tragedy as well as the amount of ‘sympathy eating” that goes with such things. I packed a cooler full of good things to take. I have to tell you that I have already gotten back into clothing that I couldn’t wear and have more energy than before. I did binge on some sugar during that time, but I feel that was stress more than anything. I stayed mindful of the fact, and curbed the urge some. This week, I have been very selectful with what I am eating and I can really feel the difference.

MemberHi, Cardale. Yes, Splenda (sucralose) is considered to be an artificial sweetener. You can read more about options here – http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2.
