62 years old struggling with weight issues , iI know God has directed me here after crying out to Him, could use all the support I can and am willing to be just as supportive back. in northern coastal British columbia, Canada near Alaska border. Weather here is very wet and gloomy a lot and can get you down, guess what you do when you get down, right you eat. Need a good buddy to help me stay up and to be able to stay focused on the SON shine…

Hello Dimorin, My name is Kathy, from Richmond, New Hampshire, USA. I too am 62 and struggling with weight. The most I’ve weighed was 245 when I was about 1986 then went down to about 215 by 1989, then went on the MediFast diet for about 3 1/2 mo. and lost 55 lb. and went down to 160. That was a good time for me. I am now about 175 as I have been struggling since June this year after losing 17 lb. from 179 to 162 from Jan of this year to June. I was telling another friend about these past couple months with our son, who is in the Marines, coming home in October and then Thanksgiving to Dec.6 and w/family and all and then our dog of 12 1/2 years just died this past Sunday, I’ve really been stressed out. Now if I can just get my house in good order I’ll be able to get back on track again with the TDC eating plan. It really does work. Also, we are Traditional Catholics and being one I must put my trust in God and his Mother, Mary to help me (and to keep our son safe – he’s going to Afghanistan the day after Christmas.) How about you? God bless, Kathy

Hi! I’m a new be with a strong Christian faith. I have a feeling I’ll be on my knees a lot because I have a long way to go. But I am patient and know this will be a long road My eating habits have to change for sure; but I need to find out how to prepare all the food for a week because I work. I have depression in my past and want to keep positive about this. Need a friend to chat
