Is there a way to reduce the number of carb exchanges. I eat a low carb diet but not keto. My current selection of low sugar has far more carbs than I am used to but the keto plan looks too restrictive. I would like to swap some of the carbs with a protein
Hi, Sabiliak. Absolutely. To get to our regular low-carbohydrate route, deselect “keto” from the “Dietary Needs” section of your profile (lower right area), then generate a new menu. Once there, you make changes by one of two ways:
1. Click on the “Exchange View” button above your menu to see how the food exchanges are distributed. Then you can just prepare the meal with an extra protein exchange instead of any carbohydrate exchanges you want to reduce.
2. Click on the edit tool (a pencil icon) at the upper right of each meal, and select the foods going into your menu, switching carbohydrate exchanges for protein exchanges).
