I was assigned to a low fiber-low fat diet by my gastroenterologist today. These restrictions seem to be self explanatory, but how do they fit into the Trim Down Club?
The easy thing about the program is that you choose which foods go into your menu. Depending on the reason for and degree of the restriction, it may be as simple as cooking and/or pureeing your vegetables (or avoiding them for a period of time), eating white grain products instead of whole grain, avoiding legumes, going low on dairy and red meat, etc. Hopefully you received guidelines from your healthcare provider.
