Are the menus/meal plans type 2 friendly?
Hi, adhunter. Absolutely! The entire program is based on principles of type 2 diabetes management.
Is there a place to let the meal planner know I’M a diabetic?
The menu I printed had out a lot of carbs which turn into sugar the same with fruit. It seems like a lot of food. I’M 71 years old, have heart disease. Should I omit things myself?
Hi, khoopes01. The entire program is based on diabetes management, and is actually fairly low in carbohydrates – about 45% of energy vs. 65-70% in regular diets. If you want to cut back on the starchy carbohydrates, that’s fine – just don’t starve yourself!
