In the introduction video it said one of the five foods you should never have is corn, yet corn is listed all through my diet plan, is it because I am Gluten free? I know that most everything I use is corn, rice or quinoa based, but I am seeing actual corn.
Hi, singray40. The video discussed artificial, overprocessed, or otherwise manipulated versions of popular foods that should be healthy, but have been changed into being particularly harmful to your goals. Rather than giving up on them altogether, we encourage better versions in their original, natural forms – the example of corn, we discourage GMO corn or processed corn products, but fresh or frozen non-GMO corn is absolutely fine. Note that the foods discussed in the video are only examples, and many other popular foods have been similarly affected—so it’s good to read labels, be aware of how a food is made, and choose whole foods as much as possible.
