Today’s lunch has quinoa and peas. Aren’t they both starches. Can I skip the peas?
Hi, Readymom. Yes, they are both starches – they are both provided to enable a higher variety in the meal and of nutrients, but you don’t have to use them both. You can just double one and leave the other out.
