The combinations of foods on the menus are very odd together. I know it chooses from my choices, but the things they put together are not suitable to my taste.

I am new here, and am seeing some problems as well. On the sample menus they don’t tell you what to do with the items. On one of the first days they say cocoa powder and milk and something else. My assumption is that I am allowed to use cocoa in my milk? I am going to try to muddle through this, but in spots where I don’t like their combinations, I am going to swap them with other days of the week that seem more palatable.

Hi , glad to see I’m not the only one to find the food combinations odd! I’ve googled some of the combos and got recipes to try. But I’m at a loss with some of the others. Also I’m a little confused by the measures. I’m in uk and we don’t use cups only actual weights.

Hi. Be sure to take advantage of the swap feature in your menu. Just click on the item, and you can replace it with nutritionally comparable items – or you can do as you are doing now, and just swap them as it suits you. And yes, JanShirley, you can use cocoa in your milk – just be sure to count any sweeteners, because they can add up.

Hi, Mercedes. Be sure to click on the metric option in the Menu Planner – it is the left-most option in the toolbar above your finished menu. When taking about fluids, 1 cup = 240 ml. When talking about solid foods, there are various different weights.
