MemberHi, Jrivers. We base the calories on weight loss at your current weight, and this amount will go down as you lose weight significant amounts of weight and update your profile (and generate new menus). Ultimately, you will get to about 1600 calories here, but if you have only that amount now, you are likely to hit a weight plateau early and possibly even gain back any weight you lose at first. We offer complete nutrition for a sustainable, long-term solution. The weight loss is slower but more likely to be permanent. If you would already like to drop to the next level, enter “179” as your current weight in your profile, then generate a new menu.

MemberHi! I’m new to the trim down club. I can’t seem to find how many calories I am allowed per day. I’m trying to understand what to do since I am starting Monday. Thank you so much!

MemberHi, Jaylyn73, and welcome! At your current weight, you are allotted a bit under 2200 calories per day. As you lose certain amounts of weight (and update your profile and menus, of course), you will get gradually less food until you reach about 1600 calories per day. Note that we base this on keeping you well-nourished and preventing hunger, as this program is intended to be long-term, and not a temporary crash diet.
If you have additional questions, I would be happy to help. - AuthorPosts
