Is maltodextrin a good type of sweetener to use in foods? It’s in the stevia sweetener I purchased.
Hi, raisay. Maltodextrin isn’t something we recommend, as it can increase blood sugar levels. A better Stevia blend would be with erythritol.
Thanks. What about a natural sweetener with: natural insulin, natural levulose, organic stevia, glycosides from stevia extract and organic gum acacia? Stevia only sweeteners are very hard to come by in the UK
Sorry, I meant to say natural inulin, not insulin
Hi, raisay. Inulin is excellent.
Thanks Ossie-Sharin. What about the other natural sweetener ingredients I mentioned yesterday?
Hi, raisay. All are fine except levulose (fructose) as it can negatively affect the liver.
