    1. My husband wants to know if there is a progress chart for him also. We are planning to lose weight together. Is there a way to get a chart for him?
    2. In the menu we got, I don’t see many green salads. I have been making a green salad with some tomato and a dressing made from red wine vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, and a little stevia. Can we have a green salad with a meal? If we can, is it ok to use this dressing?
    3. I usually have a hard boiled egg in the morning and my husband does 2 eggs in a non stick pan. We prefer the eggs to the cold cereals in the menu. Can these be substituted in?
    4. Are there “free” foods like celery, lettuce, sweet peppers, etc.?
    5. If there are “free” foods, where do I find a list of them?
We are looking forward to your answers.

Hi, DrMom, and welcome. I’m happy to answer your questions.
    1. The program is a single-user system, so the Progress Meter can only accept one line of weights at a time. I will forward your query to the development team. In the meantime, it would e food for him to at least track his weight and/or measurements in a journal.
    2. There are two options there. First, you can select any one of three salads linked to recipes (Green Vegetable Salad with Dressing, Mixed Green Salad, or Vegetable Salad with Dressing) – you can either follow those recipes or make your own. Second, most vegetables for a salad are considered “free,” and are listed separately through a link (located under your weekly menu) – use them as you please. This answers #4.
    3. The Menu Planner has many options for breakfast – you can select what you wish. If an egg does not come up on your menu every morning for breakfast, you absolutely can substitute it for the protein that is listed – either through the swap out button next to the item, or just on your own. It is recommended to have some carbohydrates at breakfast, but it does not have to be cereal.
    4. See the second part of #2 above,
    5. Free vegetables are listed through a link located under your weekly menu. Other free foods are not yet listed, but will be in the future. These include primarily seasonings (herbs/spices, mustard, vinegars) and unsweetened beverages such as teas, flavored waters, and coffee.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to post.
