hi guys – am new to this club – i found my way here due to the fact i have totally smashed my right lower leg – tib and fib – completely – so hence i am layed up in bed with no prospect of being able to put my foot to the ground and weight bear for the next 6 – 8 weeks – fattness here i come – i also need to lose some weight and had taken up walking – i was able to pump out 8-10k an hour before i fell on the deck – i thought the ice had cleared – but nope – so hence the smashed leg helicopter ride to the nearest hospital and all this done on morphine – not a fun place to be – but back to the origianl question – do any of you lovely people out there have any ideas of what i can do whilst beached like a whale and not allowed much movement
Hi, mudpyz. We are, of course, very sorry to read of your accident. If your arms are fine, you can use those to lift objects and stretch items in bed to tone your arms and stomach. You can also do seat clenches. As you heal, your physical therapy will be a source of activity.
