ewkaMemberHi everybody, im new member, started last week, to be honest I see little progress already ( eating healthier)but have some concerns. Im too busy for following meal plans. Doing night duties, have not enough time to sleep as have little babe and…am all the time hungry,( meals from meal planner are too small for me)sweet tooth is my biggest problem. How to look after meals and activities when no time for anything. Do I have to follow those meals plans or it doesnt have sense than?
Thank youJune 11, 2014 at 6:15 pm #20763
JenitaMemberHi. Sounds like you need to have some healthy “quick” foods. The kind of thing that if we are in a hurry or too tired you can just grab it and know that it is not ruining your healthy plan. I am also new to this program but one of the things that made me want to sign up for it was the fact that they have the very thing that it seems like you are looking for. “On the go meals or snacks” might be what you need to look for. Don’t be hard on yourself if you have taken a step back due to your sweet tooth. But at the same time, plan to move forward starting NOW. you may be able to re-motivate yourself while listening to some of the videos. Perhaps you can even do that with ear buds on while you are rocking your baby in the middle of the night. Again, bear with me as I am brand-new, but as soon as I find what I think maybe helpful for you, I will post again. Hang in there!

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, ewka. I responded to another of your posts, but I see your question here. If you get the general idea of the meals, then just find readily available foods that work for you – sandwiches, nuts and seeds, fruits and vegetables, yogurts, cheese, etc. You can also make stews and soups when you have more time and freeze them in individual portions, then thaw them and fill thermoses to take with you to work – you can drink your meals and snacks.
One solution to help with both of your issues may be to have three larger meals instead of six smaller ones.June 12, 2014 at 8:43 am #20801

JenitaMemberHey, guess what? I found this helpful as a faster, easier alternative to the “planned menu”. Take a close look at the “I Feel Lucky” app. It is in the Apps section. Be sure to go through the little tutorial as it shows you how you can switch out certain foods in case there is something you don’t want or like. I’m definitely going to give this a try!! Hope this helps!

cynkatsMemberHi. The day I started this plan my son and daughter-in-law had to travel for a family emergency. That meant I had to take care of my 3 grandchildren for three days. Everything is ok now, but I haven’t had a chance to start following the program. I’m trying to catch up now.
