pataguilarMemberHi, I recently became a member and this is my first week. First day was ok but I feel like I am eating a lot of food. I ate my dinner around 6:30pm and buy the time it was snack time I was still full I couldn’t eat my night time snack so I only ate my nuts. I feel like that’s to much for me.

camerong1124MemberI also felt the same way on my first day of the program. I was much fuller than I thought I would be. I’m glad I am not the only one that felt that way. Good Luck!

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, there. So glad to read you’re not hungry! If you’re not a diabetic, don’t worry about that last snack.

godskidMemberI just started this and I was looking at the menu thinking” I’m gonna get fat eating all his!” Does it take my height and wieght and age into account?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, GodsKid. Absolutely! Note that it looks like a lot because the foods are nutrient-dense more than energy-dense, to prevent hunger while still right-sizing your intake. If you have been on restrictive diets in the past, it may take your body a little while to get used to the amount, but when it returns to a normal metabolic rate, the results will be more long-term.
Physical activity may give you an extra edge here.July 5, 2014 at 2:02 pm #21378
sesmacMemberI got from the welcome video that this is a diet that basically gives you the right amount of certain nutrients at the same time to get your metabolism working as it should – a good metabolism is key to burning off those pounds…….am I right in those thoughts? The question I have however, is that I am on medication (amitryptalline) that helps to increase weight gain – I assume that this is because it lowers the metabolism, thus will this diet still work?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sesmac. You are absolutely right about our program! As for amitriptyline, it increases appetite in some people, particularly for carbohydrates – nothing more, so no worries about any special obstacles to weight loss. The food combinations and meal timing we promote here should help deal with that, if you happen to be sensitive to that side effect.

NancieDockeyMemberI can’t eat all the food I am required, and I can’t find most of the food. In my third week, lost two pounds first week, and have gained it all back.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Nancie. Have you been on restrictive diets before? Are you physically active? It may be that your body is adjusting. If you are having trouble finishing all the food, then it is OK to cut back a little – but we do encourage you to get in all of the fruits and vegetables, as well as sources of calcium.
You can can give your fat-burning a boost by starting a changing your exercise routine, to wake up new muscles and get your metabolism back on track. - AuthorPosts
