Hello. I have just joined TDC today and already have questions. I thought about the menu planner to get organized and lose weight. When looking at the planner, I noted the foods are very simple and are not like the recipes on this site. So, what to do? I like a lot of the recipes but am afraid that I won’t lose weight with them. How can I use them instead of meal planner to lose weight?
Hi, catmo, and welcome. Many of our recipes are in the Menu Planner lists, which you can select as you go through the personal version of the Menu Planner application. For the newer recipes that have not yet been added, you can swap them in by comparing the exchanges for the recipe you want (at the bottom of the page) to those allotted to you – you can see the latter by clicking on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above your current menu. The match doesn’t have to be perfect.
