Tagged: Cup
Please can someone tell me what a cup size is? I only have mugs! I would prefer to have weight – ounces or grams would be good.
A cup is 6 oz
Hi, DWisdom. A teacup is 6 fluid ounces (180 ml) as rebmik2 pointed out, and a full cup is 8 fluid ounces (240 ml).
It doesn’t really matter how much a ‘cup’ is as long as you use the same cup all the time. They can be bought in sets from most shops. 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 3/4 cup, 1/4 cup, same with spoon measures.
