Hi my name is Denis and I live in London. I am 60 years old in real age but feel older, although about 20 in the head. I have joined in the hope of being inspired to lose weight. I am 264lbs a mere 7 stone over weight for my height. I have been looking at the foods in the planner section, and I have to say, I am not looking forward to not only trying them but finding the shops that sell them. I have a problem in as much that being a shift worker, it’s hard to find time to get to the shops never mind finding what I want. I tried last year to lose some weight using a calorie controlled system and although I lost over a stone in a couple of months, I put it back on and some. I have a big problem seeing myself eating a few nuts or seeds as a supplement/snack when I was eating a big bag of crisps or a cake or two. I know I have to change these things but it’s getting the incentive to do it that I’m mainly having problems with. I suppose I’m looking for that magic wand to swing past me and I’d be thin again, lol. Anyway I will try.
