MemberHi, minisam. It depends on what it is. If it is fruit, vegetables, nuts, or a protein food, yes. If it is something starchy like just crackers, that may be hard on your system.

MemberHi, minisam. Meat/poultry/fish are raw; vegetables in 1 cup measurements are raw and in 1/2 cup measurements are cooked.

MemberHi, I’m craftylela and I joined almost 2 weeks ago. I am handicapped and cannot stand, so I can’t weigh myself every week. I get weighed every 2-3 months when I visit my Dr. How is this going to work with the Trim Down Club? Also my husband works late and so we are up late at night/early morning. Breakfast time for us is between 8-9 am… then we usually eat lunch about 12-1 and dinner is around 6pm. I am finding that it’s hard to get an AM snack in because it feels like I am eating all morning. The afternoon snack works great and the evening one I am finaly working into my schedule. But what do I do about the morning snack? Thanks for answering my question in advance

MemberHi I joined a couple weeks ago and have a couple questions. First, I am handicapped and cannot stand to be weighed. I get weighed at the dr’s office by hoyer lift every 2-3 months when I visit. Will that still work with the menu plan. My second question is my hubby works 2nd shift and isn’t home till 11:30 or so at night and then we are up another hr or two. We usually sleep till 8 or shortly after in the morning which makes breakfast somewhere between 8-9 (8:30-9:30) most days. Then we have lunch between 12 & 1:30 usualy closer to 12. If I try to have a snack in there I feel like all I am doing all morning is eating. I have no problems with the afternoon snack as I usually have that around 3 pm. Then we have dinner about 6 pm. I sometimes doze off in the evening and was having a difficult time getting my 3rd snack in but I’m working it out.. sometimes I have it when hubby gets home from work. Any suggestions on my AM snack? Thanks in advance

MemberHi CraftyLela, and welcome. Yes, getting weighed once ever 2-3 months is absolutely fine – it is definitely preferable to getting weighed too often, and we actually encourage Clubmembers to use other “measurements,” such as waist circumference, how clothes are fitting, and general well-being.
Regarding your schedule, that looks great. Note that you can just drink your morning snack – even just sipping on some milk, perhaps blended with fruit or even just coffee or tea.September 19, 2015 at 3:12 pm #31686printlogic1

MemberHi, Tina. Do you mean “darker,” because I’m not seeing any bold. The darker the blue, the less healthy the food. If you did mean thicker text, I suggest you send a screen shot to the tech support team (through the “Contact Us” link below.
