Darbys5MemberI have come to the realization its time to actually “learn” about nutrition, instead of “trying” yet another diet. I am 45 years old, mother of 3 who is in constant excuse mode. My favorite term “pleasantly plump”… I am here today to face it… (online anonymously) At 5ft 5 I weigh 183 Lbs. I am fat. Being honest, I am Lazy, and frustrated with myself for my lack of true motivation! I need help to LEARN the proper foods in portion and combination to get myself on track. I need to move! I am tired of hiding from my husband when I am changing clothes, and sick of wearing multiple layers of clothes… even in the summer… to hide, what we all know cannot be hidden under a cardigan… my weight. My mother is diabetic, I watch her eat, pour on the salt and complain about her health. I have judged her for years. Its time to get real. I am my mother, 20 years younger. I must stop the self proclaimed theory of accepting myself as pleasantly plump, and stop my internal BS. Today is my day to start a new journey to educate myself on a lifestyle change, not another diet. I will be looking at your advice, recipes and stories of successes, to learn as much as I can to succeed. Wish me luck peeps. Its a new day for me:)
