MemberHi, I’ve been on the programme for four weeks now and I’m enjoying it immensely but haven’t seen a weight loss in the last 3 weeks. The first week I lost about 5 lbs. and nothing ever since. I take med. that slow down your metabolism. I have about 20 lbs. to lose and I’m the type of person that needs to see some weight loss every week even a .5 lbs. or I get discouraged. Pls help.

MemberYes, I work out 5 times a week between 1 to 2 hours each time. I do cardio and weight training. I was doing this even before I started this programme. That hasn’t changed, but I noticed I have a lot more energy while doing my training.

MemberHi, Oteoi. It’s great that you’re active and feeling well. There are a couple of possibilities regarding your current weight plateau.
1. Your muscles are becoming “complacent,” and may benefit from changes to your routine every couple of weeks – you can always go back to a previous routine later.
2. Since muscle is heavier than fat, at this fairly early stage you may get a more accurate assessment by looking in the mirror and seeing how your clothes are fitting, rather than using a scale.
