Home › Forums › Nutrition & Diet › Oatmeal better than Granola?
Hello,
I have been a member for a couple of months but have not been following the TDC menu planner to the core especially weekends when many social activities and kids’ activities are in aplenty. But this week on wards I want to follow the planner to the ‘T’.
I have raw granola in my planner but I have a lot of thw Quaker Oatmeal packets at home that I don’t want to waste; is this OK to use instead of the raw Granola? I am asked to take 1/2 cup raw granola with yogurt, can I take 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal in water or milk or whatever you advise.
Thank you!
-Arao
Those packets are processed so not ideal, but not bad enough to throw out – just replace them with steel-cut oats when you run out. Just like you get used to this program while dealing with real life, gradually ease into the nutritional changes. Little changes will add up.
