I work two jobs six days a week and my time for cooking is limited. I need easy meals to put together on the go with little cooking. Can anyone give any advise?
Hi, Coopernj. If you use the Menu Planner application (in Apps above) to build your menus, you can choose easy foods from the lists – cold cereal and milk or toast and spread with yogurt in the morning; nuts, seeds, crackers & cheese, yogurt, fruits & vegetables for snacks; soup, sandwiches, and salads for lunch, and simple dishes for dinner such as a protein (meat or organic tofu), starch (pasta, rice, bread), and a vegetable, well-seasoned to get the benefits of taste and healthy properties of herbs, spices, and similar plants such as garlic and ginger. Since you mentioned “on the go,” you may also wish to try hearty shakes or soups for snacks – you can take them in thermoses. Take advantage of our recipes in the “Beverages” and “Soups” sections of our recipe collection.
