hi all, whats the scoop on pickles, sauerkraut, etc.
Those foods are high in sodium, and so are generally discouraged on this program because they can cause bloating and can increase risks of high blood pressure. A small amount once in a while is fine – note they contain almost no energy, and some types of sauerkraut contain beneficial bacteria.
