I have just signed up for this plan yesterday and I like the menu ideas, substitutions, foods I eat, However, I live in a rural area and tomorrow is grocery shopping day. I like protein shakes with MCT powder, prebiotics, and collagen added to organic plant proteins. I am substituting this in the morning and wonder how it will affect my overall progress. I eat an egg as well as whole grain bread for a snack etc. But I hate to waste the 60.00 I spent on my protein powder. You thoughts?

Hi, lhillman46, and welcome! It depends on the general ingredients in the shakes and other products. What are the names/brands?

Garden of Life organic plant based protein with probiotics. Contains Amino acids and organic plant. No soy, gluten, no whey, non GMO. Bean envy mct, collagen and prebiotics

Hi, lhillman46. Garden of Life is excellent. You absolutely can continue to use it, but be sure to add fresh produce to your shake.

Thank you, I actually add blueberries or blackberries to the shake. It’s a good meal replacement.
