MemberI like to have a protein fruit shake in the morning. How can I add that to the my favorite food? & How will that affect my daily menus? Thank you.

MemberHi, mrmulready72. What is in the shake? Can you list the recipe (including amounts of ingredients) and any store-bought product included?

MemberHi, Ossie-Sharon, I normally make it with one banana, 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, 4 oz of water, 4 oz of 2 % milk, and 1 scoop (40 g) of 100% Premium Whey Protein. Please let me know. Thank you.

MemberI also like smoothies for breakfast. I include either yogurt or cottage cheese (1/2 c) Do you recommend a protein powder? I sometimes include spinach

MemberHi, mrmulready72. The basic recipe looks fantastic! I would recommend to replace the whey concentrate and milk with a similar amount of Greek yogurt (plain, full fat), sweetened with a high-quality no-carbohydrate option like stevia+erythritol – yogurt is also a source of dairy protein, but your body is likely to react better to it. That shake can take the place of breakfast.

MemberHi, Phylis. We actually don’t generally recommend protein powders – yogurt is excellent.
