MemberI have been drinking protein shakes from Isogenix each morning for awhile now. I really like them, but I want to know if I should continue to drink these on your plan. Isogenix claims to be healthy: http://www.isagenix.com/us/en/home.dhtml

MemberHi, aefall. It mostly looks good. The main concern is the use of milk powder, considered a processed food component that can have negative effects in the body.
How do you work them into your Trim Down Club menu?April 14, 2013 at 6:32 pm #10948aefall
MemberI usually have one protein shake consisting of 8oz water, 2 scoops of protein powder, a banana, and ice blended. I have also added their “Greens!” product which is supposed to be your daily dose of veggies. I know this doesn’t replace real veggies, but a friend of mine has been doing that for over a year and has never looked or felt better. So I guess I would just replace the breakfast with the shake? To be honest, I haven’t started the meal plan yet and am still making my way through the reading materials or the program.

MemberHi, aefall. That combination sounds fine as a breakfast. Just do pay attention to what comes up on your Menu Planner, just so you get an idea of how a comparable breakfast might look for when/if you don’t have the shake.
