Hello! Wondering if I were to have a smoothie (incl 1 cup fruit, 1 cup rice milk, 1 scoop hempseed protein powder & 1-1/2 tsp whole psyllium husk) is this okay to sub out for breakfast and still be within my food group serving limitations?
Can you send me a couple of examples of the breakfasts that the Menu Planner gave you?
For sure.
Ex #1 – 1/2 ounce walnuts / 1 pear / 1 cup raw granola
Ex #2 – 1 serving basic omlette / 1 cup strawberries / 2 slices rice bread.
Thanks!
Hi, Beckie – yes the sub looks just fine.
Great, thanks!
A good smoothie is plain greek yogurt, 1 packet stevia add fruit and enjoy.
