Hi, twonurses2. If you have a serving of vegetables somewhere, the extra protein may be coming from that. Note that some foods have small amounts of protein that are still counted.

Thanks for the support. When I am planning my meals the is very limited vegetables to choose from. How can I add 2 servings of green beans or just 2 servings of vegatbles.

Hi, twonurses2. Green beans are definitely among the non-starchy vegetables you can use for the “Vegetables of Your Choice” category. What vegetables do you like that you are not seeing?

Hi, twonurses2. Most of those are in the list, no worries. Artichoke is considered to be a starchy vegetable, so it is among the “carbohydrate” options.
