NevilleHMemberHi All,
For the last six months I have been limiting my calorie intake to 1000cal per day and during that time I lost 12 kgs( 25lbs) However I reached a point where my weight has stabilized and I could not lose any more, but I need to lose another 14kgs(30 lbs). Consequently I decided to try the Trim Down Club , but since commencing the meal planner 3 days ago and adhering to it strictly I have gained 1.5kgs 93.5 lbs) Is this normal in the early stages of the menu planMarch 28, 2016 at 2:11 am #34732
NevilleHMemberSorry my typing is terrible.
My weight gain over the last 3 days is 3.5lbs not 93.5lbsMarch 31, 2016 at 12:28 am #34771
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, NevilleH. Being on a very restrictive diet such as one that provides only 1000 calories per day, results in dramatic weight loss, but it puts your body into starvation mode. This is the reason you couldn’t lose any more (called a “plateau”). Gaining weight when returning to eating sound amounts of food is indeed very normal, and part of the process of developing a sustainable path to healthy weight loss. What can help during this stage is to engage in physical activity – even something as simple as walking, lifting water bottles in front of the television, yoga, or going dancing. If you would like more guidance here please do repost here.
