When I want to switch the items for a meal, I normally follow the numbers in the gray bar (i.e. breakfast would include 2 carbs, 1 protein, and 1 fruit). But I am confused when it comes to the categories that have a 0 with a green plus sign beside it. On the far left of the gray bar it says “Your nutritional needs are +1 Fats/Sweets”. Does this mean I need to include items to fill these values for a balanced meal?
Hi, Meraki. Yes – you have an option of either of those to complete your meal.
