Blueberry62MemberI would like to know how many of the food groups can I have in one day? Like how many carbs or protein or fats or fruit. I know I can eat as much free vegies as I want. And when I substitute does it have to be according to what’s on the menu or can I substitute something not on the list? I just followed the menu, never really thought about how much of each group I needed for each day.

DeborahjjhayesMemberWhen you are making out a menu there are little arrow buttons . Hit them and it will bring up all your substitution choices. It is really quite remarkable and easy.

DeborahjjhayesMemberAfter you have finished your menu new buttons pop up under menu history. Pull up a menu from menu history , one of the new topics is exchange mode. It will tell you exactly how many carbs, fats, etc. you are supposed to have for each meal.

marie122MemberI would like to know on the menu that I generated for the week there appears 3 items on the snacks section. Am I suppose to choose one out of those or are the 3 choices there to use? I feel only one is quite enough but just asking.

Blueberry62MemberOn the menu when I click on the food to substitute what if I don’t like the choices, can I substitute something else not on the list?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Blueberry62. Yes – just be sure to match the general nutritional value. If I didn’t already send you the list of exchanges, here it is: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
