Tagged: raw butter
Hi, many recipes on the Trim Down Club have raw butter as an ingredient – is there a particular raw butter I should be looking out for? I live in the UK and I’ve found lots of raw butters like almond butter. Is this ok to use?
Raw butter is dairy butter made from milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized. You can try to find a source through http://www.realmilk.com/where.html, or just buy organic dairy butter. You can also substitute with a good oil such as olive, organic canola, hazelnut, almond, chia, avocado, or flax, depending on the flavor combination.
