MemberYour dietary buttons are not useful because they do not cover my problem.
I get violent indigestion if I eat raw cellulose as in lettuce, coleslaw or other uncooked veg.
So including veg in snacks is not workable for me, I usually have fruit instead which I am assuming is OK.

MemberHi, Beth. Can you eat cooked vegetables?
Substituting a fruit for a vegetable tends to mean significantly more sugar – generally the ratio is about 2 vegetable servings for each serving of fruit, which can limit you.
If you can’t eat even cooked vegetables, try some of the lower sugar fruits, which tend to be berries.October 22, 2015 at 9:45 am #32165bethruach
MemberHi, yes cooked veg is no problem. but for me a snack needs to be something I can put in a pocket & eat when I get an opportunity to do so. I am finding eating so many times a day is quite a problem & often snacks get missed out completely.

MemberHi, Beth. In that case, I suggest to get all your vegetables at meals for which you can cook, and eat fruit at your two day snacks so that they can be convenient.
