Most of the things to buy aren’t cheap. I have a hard time just trying to remember to eat 3x a day and no snacks. Plus drinking 6 bottles of water too. I live with my parents and my sister and her kids so most of the shopping isn’t healthy foods. I have food stamps and I’m on disablity, I try to buy the right stuff, but the food gets all in the back of the fridge and gets rotted. And I totally forgot about them. I look at the meals thats made for me and theres always some seafood on it which I do not want at all. Plus most of the fruits and veggies I don’t have either. Plus I have Crohns disease and can’t eat raw fruits and veggies. I think I might not be getting enough calories. Heres what I ate yesterday Breakfast-grilled cheese with 2 100% whole grain bread slices, cheedar cheese, tomato slices, and smart balance spread Lunch-Meal replacement shake with a banana and almond milk Supper-1 bite of 4% cottage cheese
meal replacement shake. Thats what I ate.

I understand I have no restrictions and am about to give up on this program. Also I try the meals and they just do not add up to my way of eating and this is my third week and it is so frustrating and when you speak out about they seem to pacify you with dry answers. Half of the time the computer acts up and you end up on the wrong site this is frustrating. So I know how you feel!! Hang in there keep in touch let me know how you are faring

Wow I can’t believe someone actually notice my post!! The 1st Ready to quit didn’t do anything, so I’m also in shock too. I started to think that it seems like a phony website cause only the so called people on the “Contact us” area seems to try to help. The Community didn’t say or do anything to help. You’re the 1st one to respond.

Hi, Awesome. I sent you a couple of private e-mails for some one-on-one help, but am wondering if it went to your “junk” mail box, since I didn’t hear back. I am more than happy to help, and so is tech support, should you want their assistance as well.
Nylsor, I also wanted to talk to you in private, but if you wish, we can work one-on-one here as well. The best option for you is to use the “Menu Planner” application (in “My Apps” above – there is a tutorial included). In it, you can choose which foods to eat, and avoid those that are not good for you. You will notice that it includes not only expensive foods, but also those that are more common. In light of your Crohns disease, however, I would recommend “splurging” on a few important things. First, do avoid “vegetable,”, corn, soy, rice, grape seed, and regular sunflower and safflower oils – it would be best if you got extra-virgin olive oil or at least organic canola/rapeseed oil, because you need higher omega-3s and lower omega-6s to protect your system. Also, getting “cultured” problems – dairy or analogs (substitutes) – is very good for you right now. Beyond that, it is best to ease into this program – don’t try to do everything at once, and definitely let go of trying to be perfect. Fruits and vegetables do not have to be raw – plenty of Clubmembers have to eat theirs cooked for various medical reasons, and that’s fine. Little changes add up, and wait for them to grow on you so that they become second nature. Also keep in mind that this new way of eating is healthy for EVERYONE, and perhaps your family can make some of the choices so they feel involved and nothing goes to waste. The breakfast you described is excellent; the only thing I would recommend there is to get a smart butter substitute based on flax or olive oil, and if you can get the organic type (i.e. Earth Balance), so much the better – but if not, again, it is all-in-all a healthy breakfast. Which meal replacement shake did you use? If you find a good one, they can be an option for the snacks that are difficult to remember, but bigger meals are best with whole foods if possible. Finally, note that discount stores like WalMart and CostCo carry many of the foods we recommend, at great prices.

Hi Ossie. Sorry I haven’t responded to you. I signd up Friday but didn’t actually get started with the meals until today. Then my scale needed a new battery so I will weigh in the morning and repost. Thank you for checking in on me. I think at this point the only question I have is,” Is it OK to eat a breakfast from Monday, lunch from another day and still dinner from a different day?

Hi, Debo11. Absolutely! Switch around as you wish.
